The detailing is as good as it gets. I especially like the poseable mouth none of my resin models have this. I wanted to note I saw the amazing Papo Allosaurus everyone has been talking about, and I agree it has to be one of the coolest dinosaur models I've ever seen. But I had them both in hand at a store, and I opted for this one instead. Its quite a bit larger than the Allosaurus model, less colorful but very cool. Its almost a shame to see kids banging around and playing with one of these.......its too good to be ruined! Hats off to the artists. I hope even the designers at Papo haven't been outsourced now (just like everywhere else) but if... The coloration is also very realistic. The model easily stands on its two feet as it would in real life. The facial detail is superb, and the lower jaw moves. Spino IS massive, and the face is really terrific; a ton of character. The paint job is a little bland, but the toy is still a superlative representation, nonetheless. The sheer scale and design quality are exceptional, as with all the Papo dinosaurs. You'll love it!! |
