Lots of plastic and Less Detail compared to Cars 1 Diecast.,  = Durability:  = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Disney Cars 2 Lightning McQueen (Toy) Looks like the Disney toys people decided to skimp out on the quality of the CARS 2 Diecast series. Such a disappointment.I am comparing the new Cars 2 diecast version to the Cars 1 version. -Instead of a full metal body, the Cars 2 Lightning has a plastic spoiler and front bumper. Spoiler already broke (after just a week) on my nephew's Lightning. -The under carriage has much less detail on the new one, and yes, my 3 year old noticed and said it doesn't have an engine. -The paint job is of poor quality. On the new ones, you can feel where the decals were placed on. The old Cars 1 versions must have had an extra clear seal because they are shinier and have a smoother surface. - The wheels are more narrow on the Cars 2 version. Why couldn't they have just kept the same quality?? The quality seems on par with the others.
