We've had this since the summer and paid full retail price at that time. It was well worth it at that, now it happens to be a great price and will be buying a few more.Anyway, this case is awesome, I don't think they could have come up with a better design. Each row is a different size so you can fit the various size vehicles. The front row is for your smallest cars, such your pitties, Guido, Luigi, etc. The second row fits most of the "regular" size cars, such as the Piston Cup Racers. The 3rd row is slightly longer where you can start fitting the slightly longer cars such as Ramone, Tex, etc. The last row you can fit the largest cars, Red, Flo, The King, etc. The top of the case does not fold "flat" on top of the bottom, so that there is vertical room to fit your cars with tall parts such as spoilers, cameras, fan flags, etc. Really the only cars that don't fit in it... I was disappointed when I saw it as I thought the plastic was a little flimsy but he loves it and takes it with him everywhere he goes. Sometimes he lines up his cars by color, sometimes by size and sometimes just randomly. He's had it for a couple of months now and it is holding up very well. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful A Case that Tilts, Nonfiction Reader (Charlotte, NC United States) - See all my reviews = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Cars 2 Fan Stands Play N' Display Case (Toy) Cars 2 Fan Stands Play N' Display Case has wheels and a handle for mobility. It can stand tilted to display the cars as "fan stands." A small patch of raceway representing the finish line with a checkered flag folds down for play, but there's no long track to actually race the cars on.The packaging states that the case holds 40 vehicles; however, the first row at the bottom can only hold the very small pit crew forklifts (see pic 2 above), so unless you have a lot of tiny cars, those 10 spaces are rather useless. The slots range from smallest on the bottom/first row to largest on the top/last row. Each row holds 10 cars. It would have been better if the slots were adjustable for width and length. Good case for under twenty $. |
