When it arrived, I thought I would wear it like a normal necklace, but after just wearing it around the house, part of the glass broke and all the sand came out. I emailed the seller and they sent me a new one with in a few days and said that it is fragile, so I think it is best kept on display, but it is very authentic and fun to look at/ play with carefully. I now wear the broken one and keep the intact one in its display case. I debated over the whole summer whether or not I wanted to spend $50 on a necklace. I decided after three months that it was worth it. I was right. I have gotten so many quirky comments from people at my college about how neat they think it is that I have a time turner. Frequently, they ask me to read what's written on the rings. I think at this point, I may have them memorized within the week.Other reviewers have mentioned that it is breakable. It is very fragile, but if you take care of it and don't bonk it on things, it will be fine. I pay special attention to the hour glass because the glass seems really thin. The only thing I have to say that is not positive is that I was expecting the chain to be longer. I think it would have been neat to have the chain much longer.
